Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s recently released film Satyaprem Ki Katha is earning a positive response from the audiences. The film has earned over 25 crores in three days and stats suggest it will garner more in the coming week. On Sunday, Kartik and Kiara paid a surprise visit to the theatres during their film’s screening.
Kiara took to her Instagram and shared this heartwarming moment with her fans. She was seemingly overwhelmed by people’s reactions and greeted them with folded hands. She captioned the video, “When the audience gives us a standing ovation, that’s when you realise magic has been created.”
“A moment to cherish forever. All I want to say is Thank You from the entire team of #SatyapremKiKatha."
Fans took to Kiara’s comment section and flooded their thoughts. One user wrote, “I was there for a moment I thought it was a prank but it was all real in my dreams.” Another added, “@kiaraaliaadvani @kartikaaryan You have given a very good message to the people through this film. And true love thank you very much for this.”
Satyaprem Ki Katha marks the second collaboration of Kartik and Kiara after 2022’s blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. This film is also the Bollywood debut of filmmaker Sameer Vidwans who is best known for helming Marathi films like Anandi Gopal and Double Seat.
The clip showed a college professor asking Kartik for a selfie where she tells him that she doesn't know how to click one. The actor warmly accepts her request and takes a selfie. Satyaprem Ki Katha also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Shikha Talsania, and Siddharth Randeria in pivotal roles.
The video shared by a paparazzi account featured Kartik on his knees as he interacted with an elderly woman in a wheelchair. During the interaction, the lady patted the Shehzada actor’s back multiple times as a form of blessing. She also gave a kiss on his hands before leaving.
