Kiara Advani hilariously trolls herself for singing 'Raataan Lambiyan' terribly on Indian Idol

Remember the viral video in which Kiara Advani is singing Raataan Lambiyan, a song from her own film Shershaah? The video often crawls up in our Instagram feeds with several people cracking a joke at the actress' terrible singing. The actress has now reacted to the troll comments saying "she should stick to just acting". Kiara didn't even try to justify her singing. Instead, she trolled herself and people think it's refreshing.

For the unversed, the video is from a singing reality show's grand finale. The clip doing the rounds is from the Indian Idol 12 finale. Kiara who recently organised a fan meet and met with her admirers watched herself singing. Reacting to the video, Kiara Advani said,"It was so bad, uske baad I would never," when a fan interrupted and said, "No, it was not bad, it was pretty."

The actress added, "Thanks you all are real fans" and recalling her performance, she revealed what her husband Sidharth Malhotra told her after watching the clip. "Gaane ke baad Sidharth said 'You have guts. Grand Finale me tumne koshish kiya' (After the song, Sidharth said, 'You have guts. You tried to sing in Grand Finale).' Suddenly mera sur off ho gaya, but I understand. But the thing is you do it from your heart and that's what matters."

Everyone's now praising her for being honest!

"I love when celebs don’t take themselves too seriously it’s very refreshing. She also seems so sweet to her fans," one of the fans commented. Another said, "Well handled - acknowledgement, humor, acceptance, confidence, moving on." A third user commented, "She actually invited lot of her fans to that posh restaurant......sweet. fans are a big part of who she is. She thanked them," while another one added, "Love when stars don't take themselves seriously." Another fan said, "I don’t understand why she was trolled in the first place ..it’s not like she went there to sing professionally ..neither she said ki I am a good singer…it’s just how we people also sing even if we are besura..she just sang from her heart on the stage."
