AI Steve is the brainchild of Steve Endacott, a self-described entrepreneur based in Rochdale who also keeps a residence in Brighton.
Unlike traditional candidates, AI Steve's campaign features an AI-generated avatar rather than Endacott himself on campaign materials.

The 59-year-old is known for his ventures in both the travel sector and as the chair of Neural Voice, an artificial intelligence company.

"We're launching a party, and after this election, we plan to recruit more AI candidates nationwide," Endacott told Reuters.
