According to reports, this fascinating narrative is about a girl named Anneliese Michel, who became possessed at the age of sixteen. She initially experienced a paralytic episode, which was followed by epileptic seizures.

She soon began to believe that she was possessed by demons, and her behaviour changed. According to reports, she was later diagnosed with depression and treated at a psychiatric hospital.

Along with this, she began to develop other symptoms for which she took medication. She did not improve despite taking mental drugs for five years. Michel and her family were certain she was possessed by a demon. 

As a result, her family approached the Catholic Church for an exorcism. They initially denied it, but two priests got permission from the local bishop in 1975. 

Following this, priests began performing exorcisms, and the parents stopped seeing doctors. Anneliese Michel eventually stopped eating and died of hunger and dehydration following 67 exorcisms.

When did she eat spiders and bark like a dog? 

During her possession, she is claimed to have started devouring spiders and barked like a dog.According to reports, Michel died at her home on July 1, 1976. 

The postmortem examination revealed that the cause of death was malnutrition and dehydration as a result of nearly a year of hunger, while exorcism rites were carried out. 

She weighed 30 kilograms (66 pounds), had shattered knees from repeated genuflections, was unable to move without assistance, and was reported to have pneumonia.
