"There is a perception that I am a big businessman, which actually isn't true. I do my bit and I live within my means. You will never see me driving four cars, I drive one and I will enjoy it for two years. If I want a house, I want that one, I won't settle for anything ordinary. When I can afford it, I will do the best. You spend the most time in your house, so if the house doesn't invite you, there is no point," he said.

"People today say, 'You must see Suniel Shetty's farmhouse,' I built it 16 years ago! Back then, its financial valuation was perhaps (nothing) but my idea was to grow up with my children, Athiya and Ahan, to spend time with them over the weekend, do farming, all the trees there are planted by us. What had rocks before, there are more than 400 trees there. The house was built for this. That it is valuable now is a different story," he added.

He was so little, he would have to make four rounds of the table just to clean all sides. He would sleep in a sack meant for rice," Suniel said.
