Lok Sabha Election 2024: Mohanlal, Mammootty And Others Congratulate Suresh Gopi For His Historic Win In Kerala

Famous Indian actor Suresh Gopi, best known for his roles in Malayalam films, entered politics after making his mark in the film industry.  Following the announcement of the Lok Sabha 2024 results, Gopi—who ran in the Thrissur constituency with the Bharatiya Janata Party was declared the winner of the seat. After his historic win, fans and people from the entertainment world have congratulated him on social media.

Mohanlal took to Twitter and wrote, “Congratulations dear Suresh. @TheSureshGopi.”

In addition to acting, Suresh Gopi is a politician and he has primarily worked in Malayalam cinema, but he also did a few films in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. His breakout performance was in the lead role of Thalastaanam (1992) directed by Shaji Kailas. His role in Ekalavyan (1993) cemented his reputation as an established performer in Malayalam film. Throughout his career, he has acted in over 250 movies, including well-known ones like Commissioner, Lelam, and Manichitrathazhu.
