Actress Raveena Tandon has demanded Rs 100 crore in damages from Mohsin Shaikh, a man who calls himself a social activist and freelance reporter. He posted a video online accusing her of road rage. The incident happened in Bandra, Mumbai, where a man claimed that Raveena's driver hit his mother and that Raveena assaulted her while drunk. However, the police later cleared Raveena of any wrongdoing.

Mohsin Shaikh shared the video on social media on June 2, calling himself a freelance journalist. 

He wrote on Twitter, "Allegations of Assault by #RaveenaTandon & her driver on elderly Woman Incident near Rizvi law college, family Claims that @TandonRaveena was under influence of Alcohol, women have got head injuries, Family is at Khar Police station @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice @mieknathshinde."

The man was asked to remove the defamatory video, but reportedly, he has refused to comply.

Raveena's lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, said that Shaikh spread false information about Raveena without any proof. The lawyer added that CCTV footage showed the accusations were false, but Shaikh continued to share misleading information online.

"This false news looks like an attempt to damage Raveena's reputation," said Khan. "We are taking legal steps to address this and ensure justice. We support Raveena's right to seek compensation for the harm caused by these false claims."

In the meantime, sources indicate that Tandon is receiving accolades from several organisations for intervening to protect her driver, who was attacked by a mob. The actress even received a bravery award in Mumbai after being attacked by a mob outside her home.

In her career, Raveena will soon be seen in the romantic comedy "Ghudchadi" with Sanjay Dutt, and she has another film, "Welcome To The Jungle," with Akshay Kumar.
