Accompanying the video, Kumar remarked, “The hide & seek in the wild is a daily affair. The prey tries best to evade predators, & the latter at the top of food chain maintains balance in the ecosystem. Here, a tiger smells out of few days old fawn hiding in grasses in dhikala, Corbett TR.”

Since its posting on April 20, the video has garnered over 3,700 views and elicited a flurry of reactions from social media users. One user offered a perspective, stating, “Tiger has poor sense of smell compensated by sharp eyesight. Chek vdo. Till he stumbled upon the kid he was walking aimlessly.” Another expressed sympathy for the fawn, commenting, “Too bad for the fawn. Looks like it’ll be only a snack for the big fellow.”

In admiration of the tiger’s prowess, a third user enthused, “Glorious clip. This gorgeous tiger makes it look so easy. No wonder cats, big and small, are the most successful land predators.”

This captivating sighting follows a recent online emergence of another remarkable wildlife moment. Previously, a video surfaced featuring the renowned tigress, Riddhi, from the Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, as she and her cubs calmly fed on a crocodile by a riverbank.
