More recently, a Twitter post praised a Gurugram cabbie and won the internet. On Twitter, user Monark Moolchandani shared his experience of riding a cab in Gurgaon. As a Bengaluru local, Monark was shocked by the convenient and polite behaviour of the cab driver in Gurugram.

Monark shared how he not only got a cab relatively fast, the cab driver called him and informed him that he was having a quick samosa snack on his way to the passenger. Along with informing the user of his whereabouts, the cabbie also politely asked the man if he would like to have a samosa too.

The user wrote in his tweet, “Booked a cab in Gurgaon, got it instantly & the guy called me up instantly to inform - ‘Bhaiya Samosa khaa raha hu, 5 min ruk jaaiye’. I said okay I’ll wait on the main gate, he adds ‘Aap bhi khaaoge to 1 le aau?’ What a flip story when compared to BLR.”

The User Was Surprised To Encounter Such A Polite Cab Driver

Monark was clearly surprised to see the courteous behaviour of the river towards him something which he quickly drew back to his town in Bengaluru where such warmth from cabbies is a rare find.

People on the internet were curious about a few things about the interaction. One asked if the user actually accepted the offer of a samosa. Monark replied that he did not because he had just had lunch.

Another was more shocked about being able to get a cab instantly in Gurugram. To this, Monark estimated that it could have something to do with the post-lunch timings he grabbed a booking during.

One user shared his own story, “Gurgaon is wild. UberMoto guy asked me to ride the bike once, because he had to get on an important call. I took the wheel for 5-10 minutes, until we swapped again lol.”
