Shubham Gupta, an IAS official who is currently the Municipal Commissioner of the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra, has introduced visiting cards that contain marigold plant seeds.

Gupta posted photographs of these environmentally friendly visiting cards on X. Each card bears the statement "This card, when planted, grows into a marigold plant." His subsequent post on X read, "Anyone who comes to my office from now on will receive this card." When planted, it blooms into a lovely marigold plant.
