In an age when sustainability is becoming increasingly essential, one IAS officer has devised a unique solution to make a difference. Shubham Gupta, an IAS official who is currently the Municipal Commissioner of the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra, has introduced visiting cards that contain marigold plant seeds.

His subsequent post on X read, "Anyone who comes to my office from now on will receive this card." When planted, it blooms into a lovely marigold plant.
