Tarot Predicts: Will MrBeast Be Tamed By Indian YouTube Channel T-Series?

It was in 2018 when PewDiePie raged a war against the Indian music label T-Series. The Swedish YouTuber launched an online feud, acknowledging his wish to reign on the platform as the most subscribed YouTube channel.

However, after numerous campaigns that involved fans hacking and hijacking printers around the world in order to promote PewDiePie, the soldier fell. In 2019, T-Series surpassed PewDiePie on the platform. While the battle had given birth to the "Subscribe To PewDiePie" meme, the 2019 Christchurch shootings left a bitter taste in every PewDiePie supporter’s mouth.  

Eventually, the gap between PewDiePie and T-Series’ subscribers became blatantly apparent, with the music label occupying the first position as the most subscribed account while PewDiePie sits low on the sixth spot.

However, it seems MrBeast picked up the baton Pewds put down and is ready to go head-to-head against the Indian music label. MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson, is just some 70 million subscribers behind. With how popular the YouTuber is, fans are hopeful that the YouTuber will take over the music label.

Well, no matter the statistics, it would be foolish to bet against Desis and their ability to pool manpower. Time and again, Indians have proven their innate strength when it comes to proving their worth on the Internet. Could this battle finally dethrone T-Series and disprove Indians and their influence on global platforms?

To get a closer look at MrBeast’s chances of winning, I pulled out my trusty Tarot deck to get some answers.

Will MrBeast Surpass T-Series?

From the looks of it, MrBeast indeed has a chance of overtaking the Indian music channel. The Ace of Swords and Page of Wands tell me that frequent mention of the battle is acting in favour of MrBeast. Jimmy’s fans will mobilise and make things easier for the YouTuber.

Even the Queen of Wands depicts the quick succession of subscriber counts on MrBeast’s channel. However, the Seven of Pentacles and Five of Pentacles indicate that while the initial gain will be quick for Jimmy, this climb will not be fast enough to win the battle. Even if MrBeast’s channel takes over for a few beats, T-Series will make a swift recovery back to the top. Well, better luck next time because, as I see it, the Indian music label will be hard to surpass.
