How did a model dressed as a giant furball get lost on the runway in Paris?

The model was wearing an outfit that seemed like a huge furball. She got disoriented during the show, slamming into attendees in the front row and causing a commotion. The model also nearly collided with Sam Smith while they were performing live. 

The incident occurred during Christian Cowan's Ready to Wear Spring 2024 show on Thursday, at the American Cathedral in Paris. Smith was seen strolling down the runway in an unusual attire while singing a cover of 'You Spin Me Round' on a spinning platform.

The scene drew attention not only during the show but also on social media throughout the world. On Instagram, the fashion page 'Diet Prada' posted a video of the event.

"A model dressed as a giant furball got lost on the Christian Cowan runway. Sam Smith assisted in redirecting the furry wrecking ball before it collided with the front row and the cathedral altar," the caption stated. Take a peek for yourself.

"What was the point of all of this? I made a joke about the show, and the poor model must have gotten an earful as a result," an Instagram user replied. "Fashion is such a joke, I bet it was real fur too, how sad," another user added. 

Smith and Cowan had amusing reactions to the incident as well. Smith said, "WE HAD A BALL." Cowan, on the other hand, stated, "She came in like a wrecking ball to Paris Fashion Week. There were no injuries to the models."
