Arjun Kapoor turned 39 today (June 26) and had a birthday party at his home in Mumbai. Many celebrities and family members, including Janhvi Kapoor, were spotted, but what caught the attention of netizens was his girlfriend, Malaika Arora's absence. Yes, the actress did not attend the birthday party. What fueled the rumours of a rift between the couple is Malaika's mysterious message on her Instagram story, saying she likes people she can trust completely.
The post came on Arjun's birthday. The night before, Arjun had a small party with close friends and family, but Malaika wasn't there. There are rumours that they broke up after being together for around seven years, but neither has confirmed this.
Last year, Malaika posted a sweet birthday message for Arjun, but she didn't this year. The couple, who used to go on dinner dates and attend events together, hasn't been seen together in a while.
According to an IANS report on May 31, the couple peacefully ended their relationship. A source told the agency, "From Arjun's demeanour and current state, it's clear that it's happened. Given their long relationship, the separation has been very calm, dignified, and respectful. Malaika and Arjun continue to maintain an amicable relationship."

Malaika Arora was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. They got married in 1998 and were together for 18 years before they announced their separation in 2016. Their divorce was finalised in 2017. They have a son named Arhaan Khan, who was born in 2002. Despite their separation, Malaika and Arbaaz have maintained a cordial relationship and co-parented their son.
Arjun is preparing for the release of "Singham Again," where he plays the main villain. This is his first big negative role. The director, Rohit Shetty, celebrated Arjun's birthday by sharing a new poster of the film, showing Arjun with a wicked smile and covered in blood. "Singham Again," also starring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar, is set to release on November 1, during Diwali.
