A travel website allows several search features that Indian Gen Z uses to get the most bang for their buck. Along with these features, by using simple hacks you can travel in comfort while compromising your pocket. Here are 6 tips and tricks suggested by Mohit Joshi, Travel and Destinations Expert at Skyscanner that young travellers can employ.

1) 'Everywhere' search tool

This search engine is perfect for young travellers who are willing to explore on the spur of the moment, allowing them to find nearby places based on their selected travel dates, and ranking arrangements by price. This gives them access to undiscovered treasures that they may not have discovered and could result in a life-changing experience.

2) ‘Cheapest Month’ tool

If the traveller is looking for 'flexible dates,' this feature makes it simpler to identify the absolute lowest month of the year as well as the lowest monthly price to visit a destination.

3) Saved to list & Price alerts

This ultimate combo not only allows you to monitor your preferred location but also tracks prices so you can quickly take advantage of the greatest deal when it's available.

4) Mix and match of airlines

When you combine different airlines and airports for your trip, you may find undiscovered hidden savings. Think creatively; try leaving from one airport and returning to another, or go with one airline and return with another.

5) Catch the red-eye flight

Look for a flight leaving early in the evening or overnight as you can probably book them for less money if you fly during less popular times or slightly off-peak hours.

6) Be smart with public and bank holidays

The 'Month View' function on search aggregator travel websites makes it easier than ever to schedule your trip around those valuable vacation days by highlighting the most affordable days to fly to your preferred location.

While taking the first trip overseas represents a huge milestone in an adult's life, Indian Gen Z are making smart and conscious decisions with their travel plans with 81% of them choosing to plan their first overseas adventure after landing their first paycheck. So let's learn from these young travellers and explore a new country in style without compromising with your budget.
