The grapevine is abuzz with rumours about Asim Riaz being asked to leave Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after allegedly arguing with the show's host Rohit Shetty. Known for his blunt nature and outspokenness, Asim who shot to popularity after his stint in Bigg Boss 13, reportedly had a showdown with the show's host and was soon kicked out of the show. Are these rumours true?

As per a report on Etimes, someone from the production team of the show-- in which contestant face their fear and perform death-defying stunts-- revealed this news to the portal. The insider said, "After Asim loss in a stunt, a massive showdown between him and host Rohit Shetty ensued, leading to his ouster. He was asked to leave the reality show with immediate effect."

The report furthermore claims that Asim's team has denied this report. The channel was also unavailable for comment. So, was this all a publicity stunt? Here's what fans have to say!

Asim's tiff with Salman Khan

Did you know Asim had indirectly slammed Salman Khan for ousting him from his film? As per reports, Asim was supposed to star in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. However, he was later replaced. Taking a dig at Salman Khan, he wrote on Instagram, "My father was promised a project from an influential personality from the industry, for than one year they used my name to create a hype for the project all the big media publication spoke about it and also confirmed it all I want to say is all the fake promises won’t make me feel down. The pressure and anxiety they have given me will never make me stop me from doing what I do right now so muje apney tour se duniya ko jeene de."
