While she said she was single and is yet to find a groom, grapevine suggests she has been dating Zaheer Iqbal for a long time now. As per the latest reports, the couple is all set to tie the knot on June 21.

Just like Sonakshi, Zaheer started his journey with a Salman Khan film. He was an assistant director on the sets of Jai Ho. He made his acting debut with  Notebook alongside Pranutan Bahl. The film was a Salman Khan production.

If reports are to be believed, Zaheer completed his education with Salman's sister Arpita Khan. Zaheer's father runs a jewelry business, while his mother is a homemaker. His brother is a computer engineer, and his sister, Sanam Ratansi, is a celebrity stylist who has worked with stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkumar Rao, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sara Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi, Fardeen Khan, and Manisha Koirala. The family is also closely connected to Salman Khan's family.
