German man cracks 44 walnuts with teeth in one minute, sets new Guinness World Record

Walnuts are covered in a thick shell and are one of the hardest nuts to crack. But Andre Ortolf, a German national, has set a new Guinness World Record by cracking open not just one but a whopping 44 walnuts in a minute. That too, not using his hands but his teeth!

With this, the 30-year-old from Augsburg, Bavaria has officially earned the record for the "most walnuts crushed with the teeth in one minute." Guinness World Records recently shared the video of Ortolf's record-breaking performance on social media.

Ortolf's other world records

This is the latest Guinness World Record that Ortolf, who holds more than a hundred of them, has added to his name. Ortolf's other Guinness World Records include the most pasta eaten in three minutes (950 g) set in April 2021.

He also held the records for most shrimp eaten in three minutes (428 g), most jelly eaten with chopsticks in 30 seconds (400 g), and most jelly eaten blindfolded in one minute.

Youngest with 100 Guinness Records

According to his website, it all started in 2013 when Ortolf broke a world record by chance due to a bet, and since then breaking world records has become something of a hobby for him. Currently, he is the holder of the most Guinness Records in Germany and the youngest person in the world with 100 records.

Why break records 

Speaking about his passion for setting records, Ortolf said on his website: "Records have a certain appeal and are the ultimate marketing tool.
