Some man has decided to leave his job as a school music teacher to sail the Pacific Ocean on his own. Yes, he is out there alone in a 27-foot sailboat, simply enjoying life at sea.But while he provides daily content for his fans, he's ended up revealing people's greatest fear by disclosing exactly where he is on Google Maps.

Luke, also known as 'sailing songbird' on TikTok, just completed a full month in the Pacific and revealed that he spent day 31 paddle-boarding for some 'workout'."I'm stuck here in the doldrums," he said in the popular video. "There is no wind."

The individual then posted a screenshot of his Maps location, stating that he was 'probably as far away from land as you can be on this planet'.And Luke appears to be in the middle of nowhere in the ocean, with Mexico appearing to be one of the closest destinations, albeit a long distance away. 

Viewers were going insane as he described it as 'disorienting' to paddle-board with 'absolutely nothing on the horizon' at 'almost 1,000 miles away from any piece of land'.

Users responded quickly, saying, "My thalassophobia could neverrrr." Another person remarked, "That's crazy because if you look closely you can see the HELL and the NAH."Thalassophobia is simply the fear of the ocean or other big bodies of water.And it appears that many TikTok viewers agree: "Nothing is creepier than an open body of water."
