Following Kangana Ranut's accusation that Karan Johar was a "flag bearer of nepotism," the two have not been on the best of terms. They have long engaged in a war of words, whether in interviews or on their individual social media accounts. A few days ago, Kangana was slapped by CISF officers at an airport, to which numerous celebrities responded. In fact, Hrithik supported Kangana by liking a post that was written by Journalist Faye D'souza and now Karan Johar has reacted to the incident too.

Now, ahead of the release of his film Kill, Karan Johar also broke his silence about the incident at a press conference.

Upon being questioned by journalists about his thoughts on Kangana Ranaut being slapped by a CISF constable, the Karan Johar said, “I do not support or condone any form of violence, verbal or physical.”

What Kangana Ranaut Said About Bollywood Being Silent About The Incident

Kangana shared a note on Instagram that she deleted a few minutes after. The post read, “Dear film industry, you all are either celebrating or are totally mum on the airport attack on me remember if tomorrow if you walking disarmingly on some street of your country or anywhere else in the world and some Israeli / Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostage... then you will see I will be fighting for your rights of free speech, if someday you wonder why I am where I am remember you are not me (sic).”

For the unversed, Kangana was headed to New Delhi for a meeting of the National Democratic Alliance a few days after winning the Lok Sabha election in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on the Bhartiya Janata Party ticket. She claimed that Kulwinder Kaur, a CISF personnel, hit her in the face while she was navigating the security checkpoint at Chandigarh International Airport. As a result an FIR was made against Kulwinder.
